HyperText Markup Language HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is the standard language the WWW uses for creating and recognizing hypermedia documents. WWW documents are usually written in HTML and are usually named with the .html or .htm suffix. HTML documents are nothing more than plain text files with formating codes, called tags that instruct browsers how to display the page. |
