ICT USA does contractual work for departments on campus. This
usually includes a system adminstrative relationship, where we
service and maintain the department's machines. With a contract
you get 24 hours a day, 7 days a week maintenance.
Service rate categories (Production Server, Large Server, Small
Server, Client) are based on the size and configuration of the
UNIX machine.
Production Server Machine: $240/mo
A Production Server machine is a server that meets any of the
following:
Requires uptime during business hours
Requires 24x7 support
Requires upgrades only during non-business hours
Large Server Machine: $120/mo
A Large Server machine is a server that meets any of the following:
Requires special versions of the Operating System
Requires special procedures for maintenance
Is running quotas
Has more than 5 client machines
Has more than 100 users
Workstation/Small Server Machine: $55/mo
A Small Server machine is a server that meets all of the following:
Has no more than 5 client machines
Is not running quotas
Does not require special procedures for maintenance
Does not require special versions of the Operating System
Has no more than 100 users
Client Machine: $30/mo
A Client machine is a machine that meets the following:
Application software is located on a server machine
User disk space is located on a server machine
Note: for each unique operating system in an
environment there must be at least one server machine on the
contract. The following are considered unique operating systems:
Solaris 2.x, SunOS 4.x, Irix, HP-UX, AIX, Linux, etc.
If you wish to cancel monthly maintenance services, we require
a 30-day notification.

Hourly Work:
ICT USA also does work for other departments on an hourly basis.
The services are the same as for contractual work, but you don't
get the around the clock support.
Costs:
$50/hr.
