Help Desk (ICT Customer Service Center)
The ICT Customer Service Center provides computer and helpdesk technical support for all NMSU faculty, staff and students. The Customer Service Center hours of operation during the semester are from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm Monday through Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. During the summer the hours of operation are from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Please feel free to contact us at 646-1840 or via e-mail at email@example.com.
Contact the Student Liaison for an overview of student technology services at NMSU. Overviews can be one-on-one, presentation style, or hands-on. Most overviews take between 20-40 minutes depending on the services you are inquiring about. If you are interested in having an overview for a group of people please let us know if you will need a computer lab or will provide a conference room. Training is available for Business systems such Banner, Cognos, Mango CMS, ShopCart, and other systems designed specifically for NMSU business functions.
Training is available for academic technologies such as Canvas, Respondus, clickers, SoftChalk, and other technologies designed specifically for NMSU academic purposes.
PC Support Services provides campus-wide hardware and software support for servers and workstations in the personal computer environment.
CTP offers personalized training programs targeted for employers.
NMSU has made arrangements with a number of personal computer vendors to make it easier for our faculty, staff, and their students to shop for personal computers and get the best price available from each of those vendors.
ICT's Customer Service Center publishes short "how-to" documents explaining common tasks such as changing your email password and obtaining a Global ID.
