Student Computing Services
Welcome to the Student Computing Services' (SCS) homepage! Student Computing Services operates and maintains Student Computer Labs, an Equipment Rental Program, and Training Classrooms. As part of Information & Communication Technologies (ICT), Student Computing Services provides services that support the University's stated mission of providing students, faculty and staff with the infrastructure and tools in pursuit of their educational and research endeavors.
Student Computing Services maintains more than 40 computer labs which are conveniently located throughout NMSU's campus, seven of these labs are staffed with trained lab assistants. Our labs are equipped with Macintosh and Windows PC systems, and accompanying software.
The Equipment Rental Program provides NMSU students, faculty and staff the means to rent a PC, laptop, projector and other media equipment by the day, week, month or semester.
Training Classrooms, though primarily maintained for training and classroom purposes, are open for general use when not booked.
