List Users Quick Start


This page provides a brief list of 'starter' commands for new list users. See the List Users Manual for a more (much more) comprehensive treatment of commands available for list management.

Getting Help You can send a 'help' command to Listproc to get a complete list of the user-commands.

Subscribing To subscribe yourself to a list, use the following format:

SUBscribe list-name your-name

Unsubscribing To unsubscribe from a list use the following format:

UNSubscribe list-name

Review To review a list (get details of a list, see other subscribers) use the following format:

REView list-name

Leave the subject line blank; type the command in the body of the message.

E-mail requests to listproc@nmsu.edu

NOTE: You can put more than one command in an e-mail request, but each command should be on a separate line.
