Cabling and Wiring: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; ICT provides the physical infrastructure underlying data, voice and video services on campus.
Calling Cards: Qwest calling cards are available at rates lower than most competitors.
Campus Cable TV: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; Campus cable television services are provided via the campus-wide broadband system, including educational, informational, and entertainment programming.

Checs-Net: The University participates in New Mexico's Higher Education Intranet which provides high speed connections to the Internet and Internet2.
Conference Calls: Request a Conference Call
ICT provides conference calling that allows conversation among multiple parties across multiple location.
Data Services: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; Data Services designs and maintains the telecommunication and networking infrastructure for New Mexico State University.
Dial-Up Access: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; Dial-up access to the Internet is provided allowing full off-campus access to University computing resources for NMSU students, faculty, and staff.
Directory Services: ICT provides telephone directory services for departments and individuals among the NMSU community.
DNS Services: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; ICT Network Operations Center (NOC) provides DNS services for all devices connected to NMSU-net and assigns host names and corresponding IP addresses. THe DNS database allows IP addresses like 128.123.3.4 to be translated into host names such as www.nmsu.edu.
Domain Name Hosting: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; ICT NOC provides hosting services (http://www.yourorganization.org) for domains related to official University activities.
Domain Name Registration: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; ICT NOC assigns all subdomains for colleges, schools and departments within the University.
DSL Services: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; Service is available for faculty and students and it is provided in many Residence Halls across the NMSU campus.
ICT Telecommunications and Networking Services: ICT TNS provides reliable, efficient and cost-effective data, video and voice communications for NMSU.
Internet Access: NMSU ICT offers various ways to access the Internet from on or off campus, including dorms.
Internet2: NMSU is a member of Internet2, a consortium of universities working in partnership with industry and government to develop and deploy network applications and technologies.
IP Addresses and DHCP Assignments: ICT NOC provides IP-address management services for IP addresses in use at the University, including DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) assignments.
Long Distance for Faculty/Staff: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; Long distance services for University departments, faculty and staff and students are provided by ICT.
Long Range Ethernet: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; Service is available for faculty and students and it is provided in Residence Halls across the NMSU campus.
NMSU-net: NMSU-net, the campus computer network, provides Internet, Internet2 and networking services for NMSU.
NOC: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; ICT Network Operations Center provides critical data networking services for the New Mexico State University community.
Online Payment
Web payment online and account balance inquiries are available for students, faculty and staff securing ICT services.

Private Line Service: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; Student private lines in NMSU housing facilities are available for a monthly fee.
Residence Hall Network: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; The Residence Hall Network, provides direct Internet access and connectivity to the University campus network for residents living in on-campus residence halls.
Residence Hall Telephone Service: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; Voice services for students and staff living in University Residence Halls are provided and include long distance, voice mail, caller ID and other special phone features.
Satellite Programming: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; NMSU operates an array of satellite antennae and supporting equipment for satellite uplink and downlink services for educational, news and cultural programs and videoconferences.
Special Events Support: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; ICT provides audio-visual equipment, operators, and support for University-related special events (e.g., conferences, convocations, commencement, and sporting events).
Streaming Media Services: Encoding services for live video programming, including lectures, meetings, satellite downlinks, and other sources are provided.
Telephone Training: Improve your telephone etiquette though this free ICT service.
Toll Free Services: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; Toll free service is provided by ICT, which allows your customers to contact you at any time without the charge of long distance.
Telephone Service: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; ICT provides and installs the necessary cabling, wall jacks, desksets, headsets and accessories for telephone service.
Videoconferencing: Interactive videoconferencing services are available and include point-to-point, multipoint videoconferencing and bridging services.
Voice Mail: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; ICT voice mail services include standard message-taking mailboxes, announcement-only boxes, automated attendants and bulletin boards, forwarding boxes, routing boxes, and more for faculty, staff, and students.

Webcasts & Streaming Media: Encoding services for live Webcasts and archival encoding of audio and video programming, including lectures, meetings, satellite downlinks, and other sources.
Wired Access: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; Ethernet (wired) network ports allow members of the NMSU community to access NMSU-net, the campus network, across campus using network-capable laptops and portable devices.
Wireless Access: Place a Workorder or Troubleticket; Wireless access points allow members of the University community to access NMSU-net, the campus network, in many buildings and common areas across campus using network-capable laptops and portable devices.
