Accounts & Passwords

Access to a variety of NMSU online services are based on usernames and passwords. Migration to the new Banner Information system combines the functionality of the E-mail username and password with the old Global loginID and Password. This combination results in students, employees, staff and faculty of New Mexico State University using a new identification credential called the NMSU Username to access most online services such as myNMSU Portal, WebCT, SES Ventana, and NMSU E-mail.

NMSU students, staff and faculty can activate the new credential by going to http://my.nmsu.edu and clicking on the “ Register Now ” button. In most cases you will use your old email username and password to complete this one time registration.
