Banner Resources & Information

SCT Banner is a fully integrated suite of administrative software applications developed for and used specifically by higher education institutions like NMSU to manage business operations.

Banner has two types of Access: Internet Native Banner (INB) and Banner Self Service

Internet Native Banner (INB) is an entirely web-based delivery of Banner forms used for connections to the Banner databases. There are several databases configured to support Banner, from production use to custom development and testing, training, and reporting. Access to INB is restricted. Faculty and staff are required to complete a request form and be approved by their college or department.

Banner Self Service
Faculty, students and staff members are given Self-Service accounts. Self-Service is available from myNMSU and is used for activities such as registration and timesheets.
