Help Desk
The ICT Help Desk has a technology savvy staff who provide technical support for students, faculty and staff. For assistance, or to set up an appointment, please call 575-646-1840. If you need help after hours, e-mail the Help Desk at help@nmsu.edu. The ICT Help Desk is in room 140 in the Computer Center Building, located on the corner of Stewart and Sweet Street.

Student Training Consultant
ICT Training Services currently has a Student Training Consultant available for presentations, information tables, and technical training. If you have any questions or are interested in the services offered by the Student Training Consultant, please feel free to contact Training Services at training@nmsu.edu .
Presentations
The presentation is a compilation of the Information Communication Technology services offered to students at NMSU as well as information about the student employment site. This includes an overview of the e-mail system and personal calendar through myNMSU, the NMSU event calendar and announcements, NMSU online, a glimpse of the new student registration page, ICT phone plans, lab locations, free software downloads, wireless zones, computer rentals, Help Desk information and Ventana (the student employment system). Students can also find out about where our student technology fee money is being applied. is approximately 25 minutes in length. This presentation would be beneficial to University 150 classes, student organizations, clubs and new student orientations.
Information Table
Information tables present a variety of handouts including: ICT phone plans, Internet connection instructions, Student Services Guides, NMSU fact guides, ICT Training Services brochures, and telephone user guides.
Technical Training
There are currently two technical training sessions offered:
WebCT Basics for GAs/TAs is a free classroom-style workshop that covers the basics of course design and administration in WebCT and is designed for graduate students that support faculty or will be teaching.
New Student Orientation consists of hands-on activity, demonstrations and lecture to cover the many features of the myNMSU portal and WebCT.
